why is this supply causing my camera's to flutter. The old muti is good but one cam alarms when the led's turn on at night.I thought it was power.

Do you still have the power pack and the 4 way split cable? Hook up and power 4 camera’s if the pix clears up then yea. The power unit has a issue, but if the same issue is going on then check to see by using a new camera wire and one of the cameras hook to the DVR to see if it’s a wire issue. But in all cameras unlikely, unless one wire is near a motor or device giving off high electrical energy and the wire is bad. Disconnect a camera at a time see if the problem goes away.

Could you please confirm the dimensions of the enclosure?

13 1/4 x 9 x 2 3/4 inches. Mine is still going strong powering a Lorex DVR and 13 HD cameras.

Has a cooling fan in power supply?

No but I hooked up a computer fan 12v that is feed off one of the feeds by a cable they give you in the camera package. It bows at the vents to help cool the unit if needed. I did the same with the DVR since that 2” fan craps out in two years.
