These toys are just filled with a soft stuffing. They are not filled with catnip at all! My cats ignore them completely. The listing is completely misleading. And since Amzn deceptively deleted my seller feedback on this misleading listing, I went ahead and opened up the toy to demonstrate just how misleading this truly is. From the first photo, you can see that these toys are made with machine stitching. Then suddenly, there’s a one inch portion that you can tell was hand stitched. Clearly, this seller has opened up the toy and sprinkled just a few specks of ground catnip, then stitched it closed. To say there was a pinch of catnip is overstating this. Listing description at one point says 100% catnip inside and is completely and intentionally misleading. You are better off buying these toys for much cheaper and actually adding more than half a pinch of ground catnip to them.

Cats went bonkers. I've seen similar fish toys referred to as "kicker fish" and they definitely live up to the name...cat grabbed it in a death hug and went to town with his back feet almost immediately. Hilarious. Actual product ended up being slightly smaller than expected and they're made of a printed, soft synthetic fabric, so not quite as life-like as in the picture...but pretty close. The only downside is they're kind of small as a kick toy for a larger cat but it doesn't seem to slow them down any. We have to ration the fish because otherwise he'd be at it for hours. Happy with the purchase.

I purchased this for my cats, my sister's cats and my friend's cats. RIght out of the wrapping the cats were enthralled and went bonkers over the fish. This wore off after a day or two, maybe the catnip was gone? Either way I still think they're fun.

My cat is very picky but he loved this right out of the package! He was 'kicking' and throwing it all over. Very realistic looking and it is super soft as well.

Our little princess just loves catching these fish.

Do not buy. Not what was expected. Cannot fill with catnip so what is the point? Very disappointing. Not worth $. Find toys where you can replenish the supply of catnip. Usually via velcro pouch.
