Does the box have ventilation holes? Thanks.

No it does not and we stopped using it as bread went stale

I cancelled my order before it arrived as I thought it was a crockery bas but it seems as thought it was a plastic base

The lid is quite tight but not sure if airtight. I’ve always found that bread keeps fresh in it
