What is this filled with?

Our heavy duty draft stoppers are filled and weighted with a combination of 30% padded poly filling and 70% ceramic beads to ensure no dust, granules or residue spills onto your floor. The bead weight alone is ~2.7lbs and total product weight is 3.5lbs.

Is there a centered space that is void of ceramic beads to allow it to be folded to ship?

There are beads the whole length. I have no problem folding it to hang on the door when not in use. The picture of the draft stopper is shown folded.

How to install? I just purchased but there are no instructions on installation or mounting? Does it not stay with the door when opening and closing?

There is nothing to install. Just place at bottom door. It is a draft dodger. Keeps drafts from entering under your door. No it does not stay with the door when opening or closing.
