Description

Designed and manufactured to split cord after cord of the hardest, greenest wood up to 24-1/2 inches in length. This machine features a 5-inch welded cylinder on a heavy duty I-beam frame. A durable 301cc engine, starts easily and has a low-oil shut-off switch. Electric start is included on this loaded model. The engine drives a 16GPM (gallon per minute) Hi/Low (2-stage) gear pump. Two bolt-on wings deliver an efficient 4-way split. The heavy gauge steel log knock-off removes sticky logs on the retract stroke. These features are usually optional upgrades, but they are STANDARD on the RuggedMade! SAFE & CONVENIENT OPERATION Valve: convenient operation from either side Shift the valve lever into the “return” detent and let go to retract the wedge. The valve automatically “kicks off” into idle when fully retracted.
