Camel bone Chessmen are very much a rarity in The United kingdom. Each large piece is also a hollow container with a removable top section perfect for storing small items. The collection has been masterfully carved from camel bone. The black chessmen are stained and then hand cut to expose the white decoration. All the bone comes from camels who have died of natural causes so no suffering or animal slaughter has taken place. These pieces have noteworthy ornamental appeal in addition to being great pieces to play chess with.
