How does $10.45 for 16 ounces equate to $0.03 per ounce?

It is now September 2020, and it still shows as $0.04 per ounce!

Powder and seeds. Has anyone else tasted the cayenne pepper by itself? Its a powder with unknown seeds in it. There's no heat, nothing.

I bought this to shake on bird seed to keep the squirrels and chipmunks from eating it. Shook piles of it on the seed and the squirrels and chipmunks devoured the seeds anyway. I suspected it was not spicy. I don't care for spicy foods. But the rodents loved this stuff.

Have you read any of the reviews? I believe it has stated pretty clearly it isnt hot. I use to keep rodents from under my house.
