Is this an electronic or mechanical door chime?

Electric mechanical... Solenoid activates a metal rod that strikes a flat bell

Does this work with the SimpliSafe Doorbell?

I had to buy a transformer for my ring doorbell it was under 20 bucks at Ace hardware but ended up working with my ring doorbell just fine.

will this doorbell operate with a 24vac transformer? My simply sake doorbell button requires 24vac

Instructions called for 19vac, but my bet it would work with 24v.
