Instinct Original Dry Cat Food, Raw Coated Kibble, High Protein, Grain Free Recipe - Real Salmon, 10 lb. Bag

I have had my cats eating this food for 6 months now. I haven’t seen them get sick or throw up any food after meals. There coat is softer and they are happier. Size is perfect, last my two cats about 1 month and half. Great quality from the fact my cats haven’t thrown up or gotten sick. Lean food as my cats also seem to become lean and muscular from the nutrition balance.

So I was introduced to this food when I got my new cat from a friend. I had been buying Iams for my lazy senior cat, which is not the cheapest brand. However, I noticed that he kept stealing the new cat's food and decided to switch and let him try it. My friend told me that he only feeds his kitty this brand of food and gave me a mini lecture about all the nutritional benefits, protein content and all that, but I always go by how it affects my babies. I could see the difference almost immediately! My old man baby is much healthier, his coat is softer and shinier (I didn't think it could get softer!) Bad thing is that now that he has more energy, he is starting to get fiesty! 😂 They loved it so much that I started buying the wet food as well! :)

This is a good cat food

I love the Instinct food line but I have cats that have some food allergies. I thought that this would work well for them since it is mainly a fish based flavour but they ended up reacting to the chicken fat that is used as a preservative. I switched them to the Limited Ingredient line and they do much better on that. This is not the food's fault but when I first started them on the recipe, the ingredient list did not show chicken fat as an ingredient so I don't know if the recipe was changed recently or not. They did just update the design of all of their bags and they look very nice.

Not sure why Amazon is asking me to rate the flavor of this cat food. Sadly I can't decipher what my cat is meowing at me to tell you the intricate details. I also have not eaten this cat food, nor any of my cats other foods to tell you. Otherwise, my cat seems to be smitten with this brand at the moment and the quality of the ingredients are good in my book. My cat is not a picky eater but she will frequently throw up with most cat foods we've tried. Both the duck and salmon varieties result in the least amount of throw up out of any other cat food. She has tried a several dozen brands and varieties over the last eight years. Some cat food varieties result in wet and stinky poop which seems under digested but this one does not. The price isn't the cheapest and also is not the most expensive we've tried but it doesn't have a lot of the filler ingredients that the low end varieties do. Unless she starts to refuse to eat this brand this is what I'll stick with for the time being.

I purchased this for my two cats, yet to reach a year old (October) because it's grain free and has a blend of raw. The vet had suggested I stop feeding them dry food because my male kitty was 13 lbs and had a little pooch growing. It is challenging to maintain a wet food diet when your cats love dry kibbles... imagine not having crunchies! I purchased the Instinct wet food and this Grain Free Dry Cat Food and have been very pleased with my cats positive response and Storm has lost his little pooch (he's just growing up to be a big kitty, not a fat kitty). Love this item!

A mis gatitas les encantó. Al principio les costó un poco de trabajo acostumbrarse pero después fueron su alimento favorito. Les ayuda muchísimo con el pelaje, también les ayuda a mantener su peso, y lo más importante ayuda a que sus heces fecales no sean tan apestosas. El único punto malo que le encuentro es que el alimento tiene un olor algo fuerte como a “mariscos”.

Está es la mejor croqueta que le puedes dar a tu michi.🥰

Las amó mi garita y si yo sé que ella es feliz, yo soy muy feliz. Aunque el precio es alto en comparación con la cantidad, es un producto de muy alta calidad, recomendado por mi veterinaria para la salud de mi michi.

Siempre le habia comprado buen alimento a mi gatita, pero este definitivamente le encanto, me pide mas y mas y antes no lo hacia

Estoy maravillada con el producto, adopté gatitos que siempre habían comido whiskas (la verdad no se las comían bien) y este les encantó. Se pusieron muy cariñosos oliendo la bolsa cuando aún estaba cerrada, el olor no es desagradable pero si huele a pescado, aunque muy tolerable. La bolsa venía en perfectas condiciones, estoy maravillada que le hayan encantado a mis felinos🐱❤️
