Now, there's a similar scale for use with kids and teens. This scale can help professionals determine if there are deficits in executive function, as well as relative strengths. Executive function is broken down into time management, organization, self restraint, motivation, and emotional restraint, as well as total scores that can help indicate the presence of ADHD. The BDEFS-CA is an essential tool for treatment planning and your clients' self understanding.Because the book allows professionals to copy the tests for use in their own practice, it's especially useful for those of us in private practice.
