I just had to review this product right away since I loved it so much! I didn’t realize that the Chinese translation was also on the back of the cards which is super helpful since we have been teaching our 22 month old animals in Chinese . He will be 3rd generation in the US so any learning tools to help him learn the language is so helpful . I have not found many bilingual Chinese English learning tools so this will be highly recommended to my other bilingual friends and family. I like that the alphabet letters are made of wood and seem durable. I do worry the boards will get worn in time but for now we can just play supervised .

Awesome tool for learning. It’s bright and colorful. The letter cut-out fit each wooden letter perfectly. The cut-out cards are sturdy and are expected to last a while. My 3 yo was excited to receive and play with this set and immediately recognize some of the letters and for others he was able to match by the shapes. I knocked one star off for the following...The set we received had some obvious imperfections with the cut-out cards and wooden letters. Some of the tracing diagrams were on the backs of the card and not on the front as described. Since I purchased this set not for the tracing but for ABC learning and recognition it wasn’t a dealbreaker.***SMALL CHILD SAFETY ALERT *** Some of the wooden letters have pieces that were cut but not remove during processing. These are small pieces like the centers of an “O.” My LO is past putting everything in his mouth and found a few. Inspect each letter carefully before giving to child.

The set comes in a hard cardboard box covered in bright photos and plastic shrink-wrapped - perfect for giving as a gift. The letters are hard wood and substantial enough for a kid to easily grasp. It's pretty cool that it's really 3 toys in 1: first, you have the letters all by themselves as one two and second, you can have your kid match up the letters to the cards, and third, you can just play with animal recognition and recitation.I really love the animals selected for each card. For example, F is for Flamingo (not a normal fox like you might see on more rudimentary sets), L is for ladybug (not just a lion!), D is for Duck (not just dog!). It's also fun how the illustrations manage to build the letter into the animal shape - SO CUTE!For future product runs, might I suggest you also add the pronunciation for the Chinese versions on the back of the cards? It's so cool to have the extra language detail available for the kiddos, but I must admit, I have no idea how to say any of the words haha!The only negative is because I'm using this as a gift. Because the box appears to be marketed to a different country "British card recognized figure fight" and has some of the writing in Chinese characters, it seems like it needs a package update for American markers. Once opened, however, the product is PERFECT for giving as a gift! My niece LOVED the bright colors and shouted out the animals as she saw them on the cards. Plus, the set includes some more unique animals, as there is an animal for EACH letter - no faking!

So cute! I bought these for my 2 year old and as soon as I opened them my 10 month old and my 7 year old were just as excited to play with them. The letters are wooden and the cards are a board of some kind. They seem very well made and I'm pretty sure they will last us quite a while.We were surprised to see the simplified Chinese words for the animals on the back of the cards! My 7 year old is loving that!I was also impressed that I can stand the cards up and the letters will stay inside. I'm sure we will find a way to incorporate them into our homeschool days.Very happy with my purchase.

I will be returning this Item. I opened the box to check the contents and the letter O is missing also several of the cards are separating as I placed letters in and out of the matching letter cards.My practice is always to check contents and ease of use before I present it to any children so this product has been only used by me.

I just received my purchase, must say that i along with my 2year old was very excited to use it. The product is sturdy, seems durable especially the wooden letters l. Not sure how long tge cards would last, hope to get a good use from them.However upon sorting out all the letters i found that letters H,E and V were not there which was really disappointing. Could of been a faulty honest mistake on the manufacturer end.I would like to speak with someone regarding the mishap.

When you have kids you are always in search of some entertaining, educational and well as something which keeps them busy for long hours. This Jigsaw puzzle is so durable, the alphabet is made of nice quality wood and fits perfectly in the puzzle. My kid did not struggle putting it correctly. Everything is perfect only the description on other side is in Chinese. But the main image has English. But overall its a great flash card.

I ordered these flash cards, and cute unicorn activity book, as a supplement to my god-daughters second birthday gift of a swing. It's January, she won't enjoy the swing for a bit but she can enjoy these and she does! She really likes to hold the letters and play with them like they're blocks. I think that's a good start and can be really helpful in the future when she starts learning animals, letters, colors, etc. They're wood letters but we've noticed no issues with uneven edges that could cause splinters. The back of the cards are in Chinese (Mandarin?, really I'm terrible with that), but I think it's fun that we may learn the names of the animals together). I wouldn't normally spend so much on flash cards but these are more than that with the letters so overall a good deal!
