i saw that someone else posted a comment saying that it falls apart sometimes, well its made of metal and it never fell apart for me. im thinking that he may have striped the threads because of over use, but i dont see this thing just "falling apart on its own" its pretty sturdy.but it works very well! the different numbers are different macro lengths (i dont know how else to word it) number 1 gets you a wide shot, as with 3 it gives you a more narrow shot. put them all together and you can get pretty close!only downside is that you cannon control the aperture or the depth of field, only the shutter. and the depth of field is VERY VERY small. i took a picture of a dead fly head on and his head was in focus but the rest of his body was really out of focus.. i dont know if there is a way to widen it but did not figure it out yet.ether way, its a must have.

Still getting used to it but for the price it is not that bad at all. Doesn't come with any instructions but it is relatively intuitive. Not bad, not bad at all especially for the price.
