Solar Ceramic Dog Pet Memorial Garden Yard Statue with Lighted Wings 9" X 5-1/2" X 4-1/2"

Bought this for the garden when the family dog of 13 years passed away. Everyone loved it! When it lights up at night it remind us all that our dog is still playing in the garden :)

The light doesn't work

I think this statue is adorable but wish the wings lit up. The battery is good but does not light up at night even after charging all day in the sun. Did not go to the trouble to return it though.

Loved the light, except it didn't work. My husband had to fix it. When I received it it looked like it had been repackaged and sent out.

Every time I look at it I smile thinking about our beloved baby girl dog of 16 years that we buried on Valentine's Day. This is a sweet reminder of and tribute to her. I'll keep it indoors where we can see it and surround it with photos of her and other pets we've shared our lives with.Update: I notice another reviewer said it looked like theirs had been repackaged. I wondered about that with mine too but wasn't sure. Now I'm guessing it probably was. It does work though. The battery quit after a week. After reading about NiCd batteries, I don't think it charged up properly, or the battery was old. I also recently learned cadmium is a toxic heavy metal and that this type of battery has been partially banned by the EU with plans to phase out as replacements become available. Apparently NiCd batteries can be recycled. Even without the light it's still a cute reminder of our girl, but I probably would buy something else if doing it again.

Love, love, love this but the wing is broken. I am returning and ordering from another company.

Very cute. It will look great in my little dogs memory garden. It is not made out of ceramic like it says in description. It is a heavy resin.
