Electric Knife Sharpener, Sharpening Steel ELSHARP-TURBO

In my personal experience, the performance was lame. I expected something more powerful... I found it to be very weak. Not suitable for my alloy steel knives. I thought it could substitute my grinding stone by sharpening faster and more accurately. No it didn't; not even close. Still requires a lot of effort to get a decent sharpening out of a good kitchen knife.

Still haven't gotten an amazing blade off of anything that I have sharpened with this. Not worth the money...

We received the ElSharp Turbo as a holiday gift from friends and are happy to report we have gotten excellent results so far with this relatively new product on the market. Uniquely designed and specified by experts in Solingen Germany, it is superior to and more versatile than any electric sharpening system we have previously used. All types of our collection of expensive and inexpensive, from relatively new to 10 + year old kitchen knives are now sharper than or equally as sharp as we remember when they were new. Our son who works part time as a chef for a catering service tried the ElSharp Turbo on his set of professional knives resulting in what he described as “unexpectedly very high quality edges for an electric sharpener” on all of them. He also liked its ease of use, the convenient portability and compact charge stand. The professional barber scissors we have used over the years were also easily re-sharpened to as-new quality. Initially we were a bit wary to use it's hand held features correctly but the simple to follow instructions and illustrations proved more than adequate The ElSharp Turbo is a high quality versatile sharpening system that is well worth trying. While we have only had it for a short time, it's quality feel and appearance promises many years of high end performance .

This is a fantastic sharpener! This is something I have never experienced before. Easy to handle, good description of usage (not the Chinese type of descriptions :-) ). It did not only sharpen my knives supersharp, but even my scissors and even ice skates! This is a really cool knife sharpener and I can recommend it 100% !! Great buy ! Even the sellers service works great: I had a question on the product and got an answer within 24 hours. That is what i call a good service !!
