What is the wood that is needed with this?

If you go with 2x12x10 you would need 14 of those.

It is already January. Can this be set up now or do you need unfrozen ground and no snow for set up?

You'll need the ground to be soft/thawed to get the brackets in the ground securely.

Could I build it using 2 by 10

Hi, yes, you can build with 2 x 10.

Great product and Customer Service

I ordered the 20 x 40 ice rink from Iron Sleek. From the beginning the Customer Service was excellent. I spoke directly several times with Iron Sleek's Sales Representative Tammy Alvarez and Salesman Sean They had my product out the door promptly and within a couple days it arrived at my home. The packaging and directions were precise and helpful. Even when there was a slight issue or two, any communications with Iron Sleek were handled promptly, professionally and with respect. I had a second liner sent to me and again it was arrived at my home in two days. Any time I have had to call them they happily and patiently listen to my question(s) and respond helpfully and timely. I would highly recommend them.

Nice Rink!

Very easy to assemble and skate on! Make sure you put it on a level piece of land. If it snows, shovel it off immediately and you will have a great yard rink!
