how many cups can it brew? thanks

It lets me brew most of my 1 litre pourover kettle, so it is close to a litre. I would say 800 millilitres. That would be about 27 ounces. Does that help? I get about 3 mugs out of it. Officially in coffee world "cups" I think that it is 5 or so.

Is the opening big enough to fit your hand in for cleaning?

Hello and thank you for your interest in B&B Comforts Hario V60 Drip Decanter. I do not know the exact size of the opening and would also depend on the size of one's hand. If a person rinses out after each use then there should not be a need for cleaning or scrubbing out. If necessary you can always use a bottle brush to clean.I hope this helps you with purchasing the V60.Thank you again. B&B

It's made in JapanHario is a very prestigious company, coffee products 100% recommended

can you use melitta no. 2 filters with this product.

I think a #2 filter is too small. I would use a #4 filter
