A 2nd factory will be opening in 2016 bringing the total employed to over 300 locals. Your purchase of these quilled cards perpetuates a cottage industry in Vietnam. Societal aid for those with disabilities is not the same as it is in the US, and often leaves people out of work and with no help. Employees are able to work from their homes since many live too far away from the factory to commute on a daily basis.
