1959: What A Year It Was! - Hardcover Coffee Table Birthday Book

Bought this for my dad's 70th birthday. He loved it! It's jam-packed with pictures and important events and kinda made me want to get one for my birth year as well!

I sent it for a birthday present to my sister and she sounded very thrilled to get it and said she couldnt wait to enjoy reading all of it. I would give a 5 star but it did take an extra long time to get to her. Like 3 weeks. Otherwise I think this is an excellent gift for anyone.

I got this for my mother-in-law for her 70th birthday. She is that type of person who is impossible to shop for. But this book seemed to be a hit. Everybody at the party was taking turns looking at it throughout the night. You can't go wrong for the price, and it was wrapped up very well the quality seemed. If you don't know what to get someone this seems like a pretty good idea, I would do it again.

Fun gift for the birthday boy!

I bought this as an additional 65th birthday gift for my dad. Although he wouldn't remember what was happening the year he was born, I thought it was a nice gift for a milestone birthday. I think he will enjoy the nostalgia and looking at it from time to time as he is a sentimental person. I even looked through it and thought it was interesting! Can't wait to give it to him!

I ordereed this book for my mom (along with another for my dad) and they were a hit. The books are well made and offer a lot of different information that takes you back in time.

Nice book! Slightly embossed with shiny gold. Very well chosen prints on pages, such as old newspaper and magazine ads with many products, fashion, cars, appliances, etc. A 70th birthday gift for a special friend ! She will love it!

I purchased this book as a birthday present. It was a milestone birthday (60th). The trivia displayed in the book brought back special memories and simpler times. It would make a perfect coffee table book for all to see!
