This is a review of the 5 meg static camera.I've purchased two of these, one as a spare. The picture quality is excellent for the price both day and night. However i have had an issue with water ingress.The installed camera is up a 20 foot pole, so i purchased two of these cameras so i could just replace the one up the pole and service it on the ground should i have problems. Recently the one fitted started getting condensation on the inside of the lens cover. As there is no immediately visible way into this camera, IE no screws showing, I decided to dismantle the spare one first before working in a digger bucket up the pole.The IR transparent front unclips to reveal four screw holes, when i went to undo these i found that they were already loose, they were not fully tightened at the factory. This was an un used camera straight from the box.Once i had dismantled it for reference i went up the pole to the one with condensation. On unclipping the front cover to access the screws, the front cover had become brittle and it cracked. This is after only 6 months of use. I also found that the screws on this camera had not been tightened at the factory from new as well and this was letting moisture past the seal.Once i had aired the camera to let the moisture dry out i replaced the silica gel pack and reassembled, having super glued the crack in the front cover.My conclusion is that this is still a good camera for the price. But it is well worth any other purchasers taking 5 mins to unclip the front cover and check the tightness of the front screws to prevent the same problems i have had.Another small issue for me is the lack of reset button on the camera. To reset the camera to factory you have to use the IP search tool supplied via a laptop on the network. I don't normally have a laptop connected on the network, i just use the camera wired to an old router and straight to a NVR as a stand alone system. This is more of a gripe, but it is inconvenient.I would still purchase more of these cameras even knowing these issues, they are good value. It's just worth noting that i have found no spares available for these cameras, so a preemptive check is well worth stopping problems before they happen.

This camera has great day picture quality, I replaced 2 sannce 1080p Cameras on a blue iris setup.I could immediatly see an improvement on the quality of the picture in the day however the night quality is not so good.Apparently 5mp cameras struggle with creating as good an image as a 1080p camera in the evening and it is really noticeable when they are next to each other on the monitor.Another point that I never struggled with on my previous cameras that these replaced is rain hits front lens and obscure's the picture. Perhaps the housing lip isnt quite sufficient to prevent this.The audio is a nice bonus

I've had two of these for six months now, using Synology Surveillance station on a Synology NAS. They've worked fine over poe at 2fps continuous recording.The daytime image quality is very good and stills are excellent. However, at night, although a static image is reasonable, any movement dissolves into blur and ghosting. That includes people at walking speed. It is possible to manually set the night shutter speed but the options are too coarse to get any fine control without the image becoming too dark.

Have had them up for two years without issue, good quality in night and day. Originally bought a set of four have now got eight of them all recording to one of my servers. At full quality recording 24/7 you can get about 6 days on a 2 tb drive before rewriting with eight cameras. Best drives are either WD purple or Seagate Skyhawk.

Provides excellent picture quality during day time. Night vision is also good. Viewing angle could be wider. Sound quality is not satisfactory. Dual video stream (low res and high res) saves on storage. Relatively easy to setup.

The media could not be loaded.  The camera is super easy to setup and the resolution and picture quality are fantastic. This is a great camera and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting an IP CCTV camera. The video comes from my recording system at 10fps, so look at the resolution quality, not the jumpy video, when you watch the camera directly, it's real-time and smooth.

Had two of these cameras for over a year now. They have survived a two northern winters, rains, snow, gales and are still going strong.The customer service is great. Having made an enquiry this week, they got back to me within 24 hours and solved my problems.

This camera is great, worked straight out of the box. I’ve now bought 6 of these and all working fine. The email support is really good as I needed help with rtsp. The cameras are onvif so work with most nvrs and the synology surveillance app. Great purchase would recommend.
