Has anybody had any issues using the Joule in the UK?

Yep. Ordered it from Amazon as advertised here (despite US sites saying wrong voltage). Subsequently (and rapidly to give manufacturers credit) was informed unsuitable for use in UK. Money promptly returned and seemed to be taken Off UK listing. Is it back- be interested If now dual voltage version. HYH

is this now UK power compatible?

Afraid do not know. Placed order and had refund from suppliers as at that time it was not. Surprised it was advertised as available in UK if it was not compatible - confess was a bit miffed at the waste of time and have disregarded it since. Sorry cannot be be more informative.

Good while it works. Cheap components. Terrible support. Avoid.

I had this item for just over a year, warranty expired. During the cook the motor just stopped working. Followed the cleaning instructions as per the Chefsteps website regularly, but looks like the cheap internal components have just given up. Not made to last. What a shame given how ridiculously expensive this is.
