Using this notebook for OCHEM and it is so great! I really enjoy being able to have straight lines and symmetrical hexagons.The price is very college student friendly, and the quality is great as well! I was worried that the paper would be too thin, however, I have not had much issue on pen marks on the backside of the pages. I write with a lot of pressure and use different colored pens//highlighters, and didn't have bleed through issues with gel and felt tipped pens.Definitely recommend for all OChem studies!Only thing I'd change is making the cover a little firmer, I think it bends a little too easy, but that is just my opinion.

I am a VERY visual learner and having neat, organized notes is always my top priority for stressful and difficult classes. Having disorganized and messy looking notes makes me feel discouraged. I had seen this notebook on Amazon before, and, since I take the majority of my notes on my iPad, I decided that I really didn’t need it. LITTLE DID I KNOW, this notebook is game changing in this class. Being able to have a physical book that allows me to draw cute lil perfectly shaped hexagons makes me feel so much more organized and excited about ochem, and, in this class, I need all the little wins I can get! I honestly think that this notebook is a need for ochem, especially if you are a visual learner like me!!The only thing that I am not a fan of is the way the paper interacts with some of my pens, especially my Pilot G-2s and Precise V5 pens. I think the paper makes the inkier kinds of pens bleed a lot and it can be a little see-through through the pages. It’s not a HUGE deal and I don’t really mind, but keep that in mind if you are a fan of inky pens like me!! I inserted a pic of what inky pens and highlighters (I use mild liners) look like from the back of the page.If you are debating on whether or not you really need a hexagonal notebook just for one class, I say do it. It has been a great purchase and has changed the way I study for this class!! Good luck in ochem everyone :)

This has been on my wishlist for so long, but only now I had an actual professional reason to get it. It's way bigger than I thought, and also decently thick. The pages are extremely soft and not thin/transparent, so I guess this notebook will last a long time.

It was nice to have this grid to take some of my organic chemistry notes on. Sometimes I would use it to draw compounds and then cut them out and tape them into my regular notebook to keep things looking neat. I’m a little disappointed in the printing and paper quality, though. The dots of the printing are very visible, and there are gaps in the printing at the edge of the paper. This doesn’t really affect the functionality, but I was a little disappointed in the quality. Perforated sheets would also be nice.

I recently began English paper piecing and needed to figure out the design for a project I decided to do, but was struggling with a way to figure it out. I saw a video where someone mentioned hexagonal paper and knew that's what I needed. I ordered this tablet and it's perfect for my needs. And, I have plenty of paper for future designs. Highly recommend this product (use some colored pencils and designing your own hexie quilt project is a snap!)

This notebook is way more than I expected. The cover is a heavy-duty rubber/waxy feeling material that seems like it would repel water. The pages are very thick and nicely textured. My biggest concern with any notebook is bleed through and smudging since I use G-2 pens. The paper handles the ink great, there is so little bleed through I can use both sides of each page and I get no smudges what so ever. The hexagons have .25 inch sides which are just the right size for note-taking. I wish the notebook was 3-hole punched and had perforated pages, but I can't dock the product because it wasn't in the listing. I will definitely be buying another one if I run out of space in this one!
