Bought for son as he loves seven potions. There products are a little dearer than others but you get what you pay for and seven potions products are well worth the money. You only need to use a little of the beard balm , his beard always smells good. I would recommend all of the products they sell. Amazing products.

I tend not to write review for products, because what works for me - won't always work for other people. But I feel so strongly about this balm - if this can help someone, anyone else then I will put my story here. I developed Trichotillomania (Hair Pulling) after a very stressful period at university and have been trying to manage it for many years. The behaviour results in subconsciously ruining my beard every time I become anxious. After many of years of trying to understand why this happens, I have have learnt that when I'm stressed/anxious I like to stroke my beard in thought in an attempt to calm my thoughts. The trigger point for the pulling behaviour seems to be me finding some sort of irritation under the beard, which then leads me to focusing on one spot, then leads to finding 'odd feeling' hairs, then the pulling behaviour, to then finding more odd hairs, to the eventual bald spot and then finally the sad of process of shaving the beard off and waiting for it to all grow back and starting again. I have tried a range of things like fiddle toys, rings - trying to keep my hands busy, but they didn't always seem to work or they weren't always around. Enter Seven Potions. I have been using this product now for two months - my beard is as thick as it ever has been and it has allow me to get on top of my Trichotillomania. Why I think this product works so well for me: 1) The irritation on my skin (I have very sensitive skin) and beardruff are a thing of the past. 2) It has smoothed out my beard and changed the texture to the extent I am aware of when I'm stroking it and it has removed the prominence of the odd feeling hairs so it has killed the pulling behaviour. 3) It smells really good and its made all natural products. I cannot recommend this product enough. If you are struggling with Trichotillomania and your beard is taking an hammering, this could just be the trick for you.

Pretty good balm. Does what it’s supposed to with no sticky residue left. Smell doesn’t last long on the beard but in my experience most balms are have the same issue. There are other brands out there that are equally good and possibly a bit cheaper but this is a good one too so worth a try.

The smell and ease of applying this balm is very good, but although it's one of the most expensive ones for sale, I believe in u get what u pay for, and with this that's the case, my beard was coming upto 7 weeks growth and started to ich, it was starting to drive me mad, I was a day or 2 from shaving it off, bought this as a last hail Mary, and after 2 applications, the ich eased and now after using it for a week, it's gone altogether, which is fantastic, my beard is so soft to touch and I can just get on with letting it grow without that horrible ich and dandruff drop you get on your clothes, I very rarely right reviews for products on here as I buy that many of Amazon living in the sticks, just way more less hassle than a 25 mile round trip to town, but had to leave a review for this to save some1 trying to grow a beard, getting that ich and shaving weeks of growth off, worked for me hopefully will work for you.

So I saw online that this company had great reviews about its softness and scent, especially the woodland variant. I decided to go for the citrus version as my OH loves citrus scents. When you open the balm, the smell of lemon is brilliant, just what I was hoping for. But as soon as you disturb the product and put in on your finger/palm it turns straight to the sandalwood smell. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of sandalwood so I wasn't too thrilled, but used it anyway as it was the only balm I had. The hold was decent, not the best I've ever had but nothing to complain about. It does last all day, even after a labour intensive day at work, and does really soften your beard hair. Plus, it has drastically reduced my beard dandruff to the point where I don't even notice any anymore. So overall it's not a bad product, plus it is a bigger pot than standard so it lasts a while. Good for softness, hydration and lasting effect, not so good for hold and scent imo. I may try the woodland variant next to see if that scent is better.

This stuff though.... the smell is beautiful, however not lasting to my disappointment, I would love to have the smell of lemons coming off my beard all day personally, but i do notice a difference in texture after long term use of this product. I actually prefer using it at night and then shower and style in the morning but that's a personal preference. Not a lot is needed, it will last you ages and its not overly oily so it doesn't look like you could cook a fry on your beard. Easy to use; the wax melts immediately and doesn't just lay on the surface on the beard all day.

Appena arrivato l'ho subito voluto provare, comodissimo da prelevare con l'unghia non è molto solido (non so se è perchè fa caldo questi giorni o meno), profumazione che a me personalmente piace da morire, ricorda quella dell'olio di un'altra famosa marca molto più costosa (Riserva del Capitano 😜) la tenuta della barba mi sembra ottima.

En mi opinion uno de los mejores balsamos del mercado. Tengo una barba mediana, unos 5cm por debajo de la pera, desde hace 10 años. He probado mas de una docena de balsamos de diferentes marcas, algunos economicos y otros caros, como este, y es uno de los que mejores resultados me ha dado. Tiene una muy buena textura, ni muy solido ni muy liquido, que se derrite facilmente entre las manos y es muy facil de distribuir. No deja una apariencia muy brillosa sino mas bien mate, que a mi en lo personal me gusta mucho. Hidrate adecuandamente, da esa suavidad que todos buscamos y tiene un aroma muy sutil que a mi me es un poco indiferente. En cuanto a fijacion, es mas bien debil. Es suficiente para moldear un poco y que se mantenga durante el dia, pero si buscas algo de fijacion mas intensa para bajar cabellos que se levantan, probablemente no sea el mas adecuado. En comparacion con otras marcas es mas bien caro, pero creo que lo vale si te lo puedes permitir.

Does what it says it will do and smells great.

Like the smell of the balm and the way it feels. I put it on after a shower and before leaving the house. I find it softens up my beard a lot and has a low hold as well. It keeps he fly always in, especially if I haven’t visited a barber in a while.
