To confirm, is this device able to offer output from all four channels simultaneously or is it a switcher that can only access one channel at a time?

It can display and record all four channels at once, but only with the included software.

Under device manager what kind of device is it identified as. Is it compatible with linux?

Hi, This item will be identified as a SMI Grabber device. It does not support Linux OS.

I see that 2 year ago it did not work on windows 10, has it been updated for windows 10 now?

Hello It cannot be used for Win10

Is there a driver for win 10? device manager shows it as "unknown device" and no video in superviewer

I had to go to my Hyper- V on windows 10 and download a virtual windows 7-32 bit to get it to work.
