Revered for centuries as Asia's "Queen of Fruits", the mangosteen is prized for its exquisite taste and healthful benefits. Long hidden in the Orient, the mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana L) is now available in Mango Xan - a uniquely delicious and amazingly healthful juice nutritional supplement comprised of a whole fruit puree of exotic mangosteen along with other all-natural, high-antioxidant fruit juices and purees. Mango Xan is different from any other fruit juice - this one enhances your health in amazing ways with the help of xanthones and other antioxidants. Notes: Mango Xan® uses a puree of the mangosteen whole fruit including pulp and seeds - the whole fruit portion that can be scooped out from inside the pericarp/hull of the fruit. We also use a "peel extract" containing high concentrations of Xanthones from the peel of the fruit. This extract is added into the juice as an ingredient during production. You'll see this on our label as Garcinia mangostana (Mangosten) Peel Extract. While other mangosteen-based juices add small amounts of the actual pericarp to their product as the "vehicle" to supply Xanthones, our utilization of more sophisticated methods of Xanthone extraction results in higher amounts of Xanthones in Mango Xan (independent study results pending), without all the "floaters" and "sludge" of ground-up, bitter pericarp in the drink.
