Pregmate 30 Ovulation and 10 Pregnancy Test Strips

Let me just say that this was my first time tracking my ovulation ever. I was tempted to buy a way more expensive ovulation prediction kit that came with the app and a fit-like device because it's supposed to be the newest and bestest but when comparing prices with PREGMATE, I thought I'd give this product a try and I'm so happy I didn't spend an unnecessary amount the the other product. PREGMATE is easy to use, easy to read super discrete (unlike the ones that look like drug store-bought pregnancy test). According to the pamphlet included in the kit it was recommended that I started testing around day 11sh of my 30-day period but I was so excited, curious and anxious to start so I started testing on day 5. Unfortunately the pregnancy tests were negative so this will be my second month using PREGMATE (totality not the products fault, I'm 28 and have been on birth control for about 9 years). ** I use the Glow app's free version to scan and keep track of my tests, no need to buy a kit that comes with an app, this product serves its purpose just fine.

This time could be challenging and this box has such a fun theme and colors that it eases the anxiety. It's great to know whats happening in your body to accurately plan for parenthood. The box is discreet and small. The strips are easy to use and there are two helpful pamphlets inside to help understand how to use them. They're great for planning and I completely trust this brand. You do have to wait 3-5 minutes to read the test. I haven't tried the pregnancy tests to know the accuracy but the ovulation tests are (imo) accurate. It helps that this kit has a mix of ovulation tests and pregnancy tests so you don't have to buy more than this box! Price is good too.

(This is Nick's wife posting) this is our first time TTC and the first few months I was just using an app to determine a fertile window. Then I started using these and I love how they help us really determine when I'm ovulating. The strips were easy to use and it was very clear to me when I was ovulating and when it ended. We're not pregnant yet but will definitely keep using these as we keep trying.

My husband and I were having trouble conceiving. He had ED due to a medication he was on so it was difficult to line things up. Two months after using these strips and I was pregnant. Fast forward 9mo and I had a rough delivery. I was advised to wait at least a year before trying for another child and hormonal birth control wasn’t an option. These strips helped us plan when to use extra protection while my body recovered. Now we are using them to try for baby number 2. Package size is the same for LH and HGC test strips, so they look the same from the back so they are easily confused when tired. That send both the package and strip are well labeled so you can tell which you are using if you pay attention and you always know which strip is which. Peeing in a cup/bowl then using the strip may not be for everyone. I used a small ramekin and had no problem with it. I actually preferred it to trying to pee on a the stick. Tests are accurate. I did need to take the LH test when I knew I wasn’t ovulating to get a base line shade as there was alway a faint positive line. This helped to pick up on the surge early, but even if I hadn’t done that it was obvious when I was surging.

I've used these test kits for about six months to predict my ovulation and it's still a learning curve. First, because I'm perimenopausal (44 years old) and my cycles are erratic. Secondly, I apparently don't ovulate consistently every month. Initially I was evaluating the results by eye and documenting the numbers on paper. As I've learned a bit more, I decided to download the "Premom" app which has made evaluating the strips much easier. So now I'm just giving the kit and app more time to gather a pattern of some sort. These are the reasons I gave the reviews above. If I had regular periods with consistent ovulation, I know this kit would produce the positive results for which I'm hoping. In that case, I would've given 5 stars all around. It's easy to use and it's pretty affordable considering the prices of individual ovulation/pregnancy tests elsewhere. Hopefully I'll return with perfect reviews after having a healthy baby ❤️... praying 🙏 to God!!

I wish I had known about these opk strips when we first started TTC because I wouldn't have spent tons of money on the expensive tests. I appreciate the cost effectiveness of these strips because we've been undergoing infertility treatments (IVF) since Dec 2018 and depending on the medication protocol our doctor wants me to track my LH surge and ovulation. As a scientist, I like the ability to trend the LH surge and the ability to use a companion app to track the LH changes quantitatively is great. I will definitely be telling all my friends who are TTC about using these strips -- no need to spend $40+ on the other ones that only give you smiley faces.

EDIT 2: my pregnancy is confirmed. These are accurate and picked up my pregnancy well before some of the other tests I had. EDIT 1: I decided not to try femara since I realized I was ovulating later than I anticipated. I am 9 days post ovulation and took 2 hcg tests today. Both had a faint line within 5 minutes. After reading some reviews mentioning false positives I decided to do a water test and tape it. My water test came out negative. I taped entire thing, read at 5 mins and sped the video up so you can see nothing is tampered. I will update in a week to say if anything changes. Happy I got these. I always assumed I was ovulating around day 14. So I was mostly focusing on intercourse leading up to those days and a few days after. I have regular cycles and have been TTC for almost 2 years. I’ve never tested in the past because everyone says, “if you make it a chore and stress yourself out, it won’t happen”. I finally saw an OBGYN who put me on femara and recommended I start testing for ovulation. I am ovulating around day 20. I thought at first the strips were defective, but I continued checking and finally the lines are equal. Now that I know this, I hope to be successful in the upcoming months.

This is my first time feeling compelled to write a review on a product! I didn’t get pregnant this cycle, but only because I wasn’t trying to do so. I want to learn how to track my cycle to prevent pregnancy naturally and I am so be to the method. I was worried that I wasn’t ovulating in line with my app and my CM, so I bought this pack. It was cool that it came with the pregnancy tests in case there was an “oopsie”. So easy to take and very obvious when the LH tests were positive.
