Pond King Floating Turtle Trap; All-Aluminum Welded Frame; Flippers with Stainless Steel Hinges

We’ve had this in our pond and have caught several turtles, in one cast my husband caught 11. It’s been great to rid our pond of these unwanted creatures.

Disappointed!! It hAd the wrong hardware in the box. Luckily I had enough hardware to be able to assemble the trap without going to the store to by some. The picture shows how it was assembled wrong. The hole on the right side upright was at the bottom instead of where it belonged. I’m a diy’er and was able to drill another hole to make it work. I think they need to step up their quality control so things like this doesn’t happen. I hope it will actually catch turtles or I’ll have to send it back. $300.00 is a little steep considering how things went.

We have a 1/3 acre pond and are trying to clean it up so our fish will thrive. We have captured 34 turtles in three trips and moved them to a new big bayou. Works well.

I read the reviews before I purchased this product,,, reviews were great ,,, telling how many turtles they caught ,,, after the first 30 days I called the company and they were very nice people ,,, but no words of wisdom ,,, I have this turtle trap in my pond for over 60 days and nothing ,,, it does not work !!! $300 down the drain ,,,,and I am sick about it ,,,

This is very sturdy and well made. I’d love to give it more stars but it hasn’t caught anything from my turtle infested pond. I’ve tried a few different baits but maybe just haven’t found the right one. Will update if I do but so far no luck. The design seems sufficient so maybe I’m doing something wrong. I did trap a large snail so that gave me hope but these turtles are eating all my plants.

This works! It is a slow process in our pond since there are not a lot of turtles but it has been the only thing that works.

This turtle catcher is genius. We have caught 108 turtles from the pond. Heavy duty construction. Excellent item.

took a while for the turtles to use it 4-5 days, but when the did I caught 12 first time and 11 the next. it definitely helps to remove so many turtles we have in lake.
