Scraping noise when reeling after 1st trip out

Looks really nice, felt great out of the box, so far I’ve only Taken it out on 1 trip, landed 12 redfish all over 20”, one of which was 37” reel feels great..the incredibly strong drag could be smoother, reels started making scraping noise 1/2 way through the day.. not sure what is wrong but hopefully some oil will take care of that. Otherwise I’ll be looking for some warranty coverage or a replacement.. that shouldn’t happen after one trip for a $170reel
