I have purchased others like this one, but for some reason this one will not hold my I-Phone 6+. It mounts to the dash of my Chevy Colorado fine, but the first bump I hit...There goes my phone. I have had it for a week now and this thing is just junk. I pulled it apart and there a three small magnets inside that are supposed to hole your phone in place. Not a good product in my opinion, I would advise trying some other kind.

I wanted a mount that looked well with the design in my car, and this one fits the bill. I had to put the metal plate on the outside of my iPhone 7 + for a secure mount. So far so good, since I have only used the magnetic phone car mount less than a week.

This car mount is great works well and is strong! Love it! I have an iPhone 8+ and holds it horizontally for me. Depending on placement vertical may be tricky but that also depends on the magnet placing on the back of your phone. One small note is that if you hit one of those rocky pothole roads that feel like you just lost a tire it does come off of the mount. Those driving moments are rare for me (two times) but overall a really great product! And it comes with an extra magnet for your phone.

Cleaned dash, applied car mount, waited 24hrs, tried to attach my phone and it fell off the dash!There is no way the tiny 1 inch base can hold anything let alone a $1000.00 dollar phone. I would pass on this item!

This car mount is pretty steady and you can place it anywhere you are comfortable. You have to glue it on the adhesive backing and you have to glue a round magnet sticker on the back of your phone case. I recommend!

Magnet seems strong enough. Easy to use. My only suggestion is that it might allow more options for phone placement/angles if it was a bit taller. It wasn't easy to find a great position on my dash, which is pretty curved.

It's very small but it holds my phone...Note 9! I've tried others but this one is AWESOME!

I was not sure if this thing will hold my phone reliably, but it does. And this thing looks nice and definitely a great replacement for my bulky windshield attached phone holder.
