Verklicker Wind Direction Indicator 130 – 240 mm Stainless Steel

Prior to unpacking I noticed that the end of the mast had burst through the cardboard box it was packed in. Upon opening I discovered that the sharp end of the horizontal bar had penetrated the material of the flag, which I assume was a result of the item moving in the box during transit. In my opinion this would inevitably have happened in use because the bar does not have any form of end cap or other method of shielding the sharp end, such as turning the end back on itself. I imagine that replacing the flag would be a regular task when the indicator is in use. It's a shame really as this lack of thought in its design completely spoils what otherwise would have been a very good product.
