Helistar Compatible Gimbal Protector Accessories Gimbal Cover Lock Camera Guard Lens Cover Replacement for applicable Dji Mavic Air (Transparent Black)

I lost my Mavic Air gimbal cover and purchased this as a cheap replacement. This cover is made of a nice thick plastic and feels quite durable. This cover does protect the gimbal but it is far more fiddly to use. The cover slides in from the front and there's no "clipping mechanism" like on the stock cover. Instead it just uses friction to stay in place. Unfortunately when you have this installed its impossible to remove the battery from the done because the rear tab blocks its access. Also, I found that I can hear the gimbal rattling around a bit inside of the cover meaning there's some space around the camera so it could potentially get damaged if dropped or something. All in all you get what you pay for, this is an OK cover that does its purpose but it's not as good as the original.

I'm giving this 4 out of 5 stars because although it fits, you need to physically remove this cover if you have it on and want to change the battery. Something the DJI-Brand cover doesn't do. But, this one is cheaper, so you take up your losses.

I just received this yesterday to replace cover I lost months ago. My fear was that I have a filter and this wouldn't fit. I have read many reviews of other covers where users complained of bad fits and compatibility with added filters. This wasn't the case here. I'm glad to be able to keep the gimbal secure again between uses.

This thing is awesome covers camera and gimbal and is extremely easy to put on and take off I would recommend

I lost my original cover and needed something quickly before a trip. This was all I could find, and while it did what it's intended to do, it's fickle and prone to fall off. I'd recommend going with an original cover if you can.

Not the official one but if that don't matter it will work I guess
