Great but to expensive

Tried a different brand of electrolytes and have to say I’m a bit disappointed. The taste isn’t great, it’s not even one you get used to the more you drink it. Overpriced and likely won’t manage to finish the tub even though it’s a small tub. Should have looked a sizing before buying as was pretty surprised at how much it was for the price paid.

On opening, the overwhelming smell of sweeteners (I think) hit me and when I caught a bit on my finger and licked that, well, my word, it was not a nice taste. However, I progressed to mixing it, and sadly, still felt that the aftertaste was simply too artificial tasting for me.

First, I really liked how small and compact this electrolyte tub was. Compared to other electrolyte powders I've picked up, this is minimal and fits nicely into my gym bag. One small scoop contains 500mg of sodium, 500mf potassium, 150mg magnesium and then some flavourings to give a strong, raspberry taste. I would say that the taste is very strong, but I imagine this is done to shield against the potential salty taste due to the high levels of sodium. The powder mixes very well, and there's no clumps or bits floating around after giving it a few shakes in a shaker bottle. I appreciated the source being Himalayan pink salt too.

I was using another electrolyte powder, so when this arrived I popped it in the cupboard to use when the other one ran out. Went to use it this morning and the seal was open, so I’m not going to use it due to safely/contamination concerns.

These are great if you need a low-sodium option but with a good balance of magnesium and potassium. I also got magnesium Glycinate to take with this to get in my needed mag, but all in all, this is a great supplement!

Like the formula but has a funny smell and an odd taste. Will use it up but won't purchase again.
