Absolutely amazing knife! It slices through soft cakes and hard crusts like butter. The serrations are perfectly designed so they don't tear the food. It’s lightweight, sharp, and very easy to handle. I’ve tried cheaper brands, but you can really feel the Swiss quality here. If you bake often, you need this!

I purchased this Victorinox bread knife as I was fed up with my old Sabatier one which gave a very poor cut, WOW what a great knife this is, light but tactile and comfortable to hold easily, the cut is good and easy to keep straight even on the crustiest of farmhouse loafs. great knife at great price, would recommend this knife to any bread lover!

Excellent knife cuts like butter

This knife is fantastic! It has an ergonomic comfortable handle which makes it easy to use. It cuts perfectly every time. I also use this to carve meat. The knife is solidly made and is one of the best things I have ever brought. Definitely recommend to others

Can’t recommend this knife enough very sharp and does the job, a little pricey but will last for years. Ordered the steak knives as well, glides through steak like butter.

I am a professional chef and run a carvery. The knife does the job well but does need frequent sharpening. An extra inch on the blade length would probably make it even better but all in all an excellent knife for the price. No hesitation in recommending this knife.

Best knife ever

Thin quality blade at a more ideal length for my purposes of cutting bread. Was tired of my old thick 11 inch blade.

A great bread and pastry knife. It has a curve to the blade to keep your knuckles off the board and it’s a little bit better balanced than an offset knife. I have both an offset and I prefer this curved version. Dexter Russell and Mercer also make good bread knives but I like the Victorinox handle and balance better, it’s overall more comfortable and intuitive!! The handles on the Victorinox classics are great in hand. The knives are not fancy but they are very utilitarian. Victorinox puts their effort into the edge of these simple knives and they are worth the price!! I like the idea of having fancier knives but I have been totally content with this brand. Easy to use and maintain, durable as long as you treat them right (don’t throw into the sink or use the dishwasher).
