I bought these thinking they may have a static always on mode due mainly to the 'no flicker' and 'suitable for camera photography' features in the description. Using the sound responsive mode in multicolour mode, they may be suitable as a busy light to add something to a small party but, anybody wanting a flood type lighting effect, these are not for you. I haven't decided yet but I'll likely return them and look for a different flood type light. Quality seems decent enough and some of the colours are quite nice.

I have a friend who has recently started working as a DJ. I got him few different strobe lights and this is one of them. He is using it almost every day now. This light is convenient and easy to operate. If you need light for party this is your choice. By the way the light is not static.

Worth a look

It doesn't stay on a solid colour without flash which is very annoying and can give you a headache. I would NOT recommend.
