What temperature does the oven get to?

Hi, it gets very hot ! I don't know the exact temp. Haven't used ours since last summer.The idea is to get to temp, then if you don't Stoke with more wood it stays hot for example overnight and slow cooks.For pizza, it cooks them on the stone in a matter of minutes.

so can you slow roast? like pulled pork? does it reatin the heat?

Yes! It's a great way to fir example, cook pizza on Saturday evening & then cook a big chicken or pulled pork joint over night. I would ensure that you use a very heavy casserole dishes though, such as Le Cruziet

Does the oven generate a lot of smoke that would annoy my nearby neighbours. Thanks

Hi, in the initial lighting up the oven does produce smoke from the chimney. Take care to use very dry logs, slightly damp ones smoke more. We relocated our oven to a part of the garden away from neighbours this year to ensure that we didn't annoy anyone. All that said, once it's going and burning steady, there's no more smoke than a bbq. We love our Fornetto oven, wonderful pizza's, bread, roasts.. And simply great fun.

Delicious ! Delighted !

Totally delighted with our Fornetto .It looks stylish and is a great add to our garden.Importantly it cooks delicious pizza's, bread, ribs, roasts etc...It was delivered in no time at all, and was fully assembled and fired up and cooking within 2hours of delivery.

Good fun

this was a birthday present for my husband, which he used for the first time on Sunday. It worked really well and is looking forward to more cooking, he has yet to try the smoker, but for a first attempt was brilliant.
