I have now tasted all the flavors in this variety pack and can write a review based on that. However with the first bowl you can tell right from the start, they got it right. The texture is really good, very cereal like. The taste is really good. I have also tried Catalina Crunch, so comparatively, Magic Spoon in my opinion is better. It is better in taste and better in texture. Catalina Crunch is like chewing on pebbles it is so hard. Any flavor Catalina Crunch has is gone in the first seconds of chewing and because it is so hard you need to sit there and grind it down into sand, flavorless sand. Magic Spoons texture is so close it is almost identical to grain cereal. The flavors are also good enough that they stay with you while chewing, which takes a fraction of the time that it does with Catalina Crunch, because it isn't the hardest carbon based material known to man.Bottom line, if you are trying to be low sugar and low carb, this is your cereal. I wish it was a little more affordable but that is the way it goes in this market of low carb low sugar. I was very impressed with the quality of this cereal.Taste Ranking:1. Cinnamon (and I am not even a cinnamon cereal lover). It would say it was exactly like cinnamon toast crunch, but the flavor was actually better.2. Fruity. It smelled exactly like fruit loops when I opened it. The taste is good, but seems weak. I would have enjoyed it more if it was stronger.3. Frosted. This was actually really good, except the frosting flavor is more like a birthday cake frosting flavor and not like frosted flakes. That actually might be a bonus for some, but I wanted frosted flakes. :D4. Peanut Butter. It is definitely peanut butter. However it was a neutral experience. Not wowed, not disappointed. It tasted how you expect peanut butter cereal to taste, but if I was to pick a flavor to go with it would be my last choice out of the four.

Magic Spoon cereal cups make great snacks when hunting for something and only high carb snacks are readily available. They are somewhat on the sweeter side. As a sugar craver, that’s fine by me.

I LOVE cereal! I could happily eat cereal 3 meals a day! But it's full of sugar and carbs & I know it's awful for me. So I was looking for an alternative & along came Magic Spoon.1 - It's decent. It's not great! I like to eat cereal dry like a little snack. Magic Spoon doesn't cut it. BUT, when milk is poured over it, it's definitely much better & knowing that it's WAY better for me than a regular bowl of cereal, I happily eat it up2 - It fills me up & keeps me full! Regular cereal, gives me a sugar rush, then sugar crash & I'm left hungry an hour later. Magic Spoon however....amazing! I can eat a bowl for breakfast & often my family is coming to me asking when we're eating lunch & I'm not even hungry. LOVE THAT!3 - It's expensive as hell. There's no two ways to slice this....it's just pricey. Period. There is no way I would or could justify buying this cereal in the same quantity or frequency as "normal" cereal because it's just way too expensive. Knowing that I could buy a Family Size box of most "regular cereals" for less than the price of a box of Magic Spoon makes it more of a special treat versus an everyday breakfast.4 - The individual bowls are a perfect portion. I've heard a few other people complain, but I thought it was perfect. Just enough to fill me, and not wanting more.5 - It sticks to your teeth like crazy! I cannot even articulate how badly it covers your teeth, sticks in cracks, etc. Without question, I have to brush my teeth after eating these.Overall - it's a good product. I would choose to eat this over "regular" cereal on a normal basis, but I just cannot justify the price point yet. In the meantime, I would probably purchase again, but it's definitely not going to replace all other cereals in the house.

Today my eight pack of Magic Spoon arrived. I heard about Magic Spoon on one of my favorite podcasts, The Jim Cornette Experience. I heard favorable reviews from them which made me interested in trying it. i scanned the reviews of others who tried it some good some middle of the road. Mine will fall in the middle road. Just know this is from trying one of the eight bowls in the pack. That flavor was peanut butter. 1st, I've only had a peanut butter flavored cereal one time in my life which was Capn Crunch forty-five years ago. I say that to say that I had no preconceived notions on the flavor not as much on the texture of the cereal.About the taste. There was a hint of a peanut butter taste. If i concentrated I could taste a bit of peanut butter. If there was a stronger taste of peanut butter, It would have hidden the texture of the cereal or made it less noticeable.About the texture. Once in my life I tried fried dried food. That was the texture of this bowl of cereal. I really believe if the peanut butter flavor was stronger, it would have made the texture less distracting for me, again I say for myself.Magic Spoon, according to the packaging, is high in protein, 0 sugar, low sodium, low carbs, keto-friendly, gluten-free, grain-free, soy-free. wheat-free. Nothing artificial. On the gluten-free part it brought to mind a line I heard from a comedian who stated after trying gluten-free that gluten makes food taste good. Just a joke. It is a very healthy cereal.Here's my thoughts.This is a great cereal to introduce into a child's diet before their tastes are influenced by other cereals. For those of us who are trying to do better and be better in our diets with less to zero sugar and all that and the texture does not bother you, this is a good product.NOW! If you are a cereal lover, as am I. Who has enjoyed everything from healthy like Cheerios, Grape Nuts. To the not so healthy but delicious from Apple Jacks to Frosted Flakes, this may not be for you. However, if you want to see for yourself, I'd suggest getting the eight pack. It is less expensive than the multi-box deal.That brings me to the price. I can buy four big boxes of different flavors of Cheerios from my local Dollar General and still spend less than what i spent on the eight pack of Magic Spoon. I don't regret the expense just be aware or maybe go half and half with someone who wants to try it to.Will I buy Magic Spoon after I finish my seven remaining? It depends though just on this first sample, the jury is still out. I still do Fruity, Cinnamon, Maple, and Frosty to try which may sway the vote.I hope my review helped.
