After getting the actual water filtering unit itself, I thought it would be wise to pick up an extra internal filter for the unit just in case. You can never have too many replacement filters for a fully stocked preparedness kit.This is an exact unit from the Greeshow company itself and only differs in color, being black instead of green. It works the same and provides peace of mind when adding it to your bugout bag or backpack.While the original filter that came with the unit runs well when new, I'm sure that over time the unit will slow down as the debris piles up inside. So have a replacement filter (or 2, or 5) will help to get you through an extended emergency situation.

If you are buying this, you most likely have the parent water filter unit. You would also know that this unit rocks and that having more of these things lying around, especially in the world we live in, isn't a bad idea. Add a couple solar panels to the bag, and you have something that could be very useful in a bad situation. Or a great addition to a great situation (like family gatherings or camping etc!)

I got this after getting the Greeshow rechargeable water filtration system and one of their spare pre-filters (the original kit includes one of each but I figured that having spares is always a good thing). The system works great and is very easy to use and maintain so, based on that, I can definitely recommend this spare internal filter. Their system and all of their accessories are sold at very fair prices so that’s a plus as well.

Great replacement part. It fit great, unfortunately I dropped my greenshow, it bounced off two or three rocks and went into the creek and it no longer works. I will be ordering a replacement so this will be an extra when the new one arrives.**Update**I recieved a ProX Survivor filter for my birthday and these filters fit that as well. The bottom shape is slightly different, but other than that its nearly a perfect fit. I added some photos from a few different angles so you could compare.

I bought a Bkles rechargeable water purifier less than a year ago here on Amazon, and can no longer find them. I took a gamble this would be a compatible replacement filter and to my great relief, it's a perfect fit. If you have a Bkles, rest assured, this is exactly the same as the OEM one that came with it.

I was very happy to see that it fit the BKLES BK-2000 when I received this filter. It doesn't list this model in the listing but I can say that it both fit and worked in this model. Now there is another option for a replacement filter. Very happy!

I love that this is not a knock- of brand. It is the same brand as the water filter system itself so you don't have to worry about its performance or fit, especially if you're out in the woods with no other alternative or source for water.

It fits in my pump just as well as the original and looks identical inside and out.I'm not going to use it until my original is used up, but I expect there wasn't be any difference in performance.
