I have it mounted on front of the gauges and the angle is good for that. The screen quality is good. Interface is a little bit confusing but it works consistently once you know what to do. It's nice having a code reader always available too. Just make sure to use it like a code reader in that case: turn the car off, unplug and replug the device, turn your key into the on position without starting the engine, and then go to the code reader feature on the menu. Would recommend
