Horiznext 3/8-3 inch Wedge Anchor Galvanized Carbon Steel

I made a mistake and had to pull two of these out. They did NOT want to come out! It took a while. These do the job. Well coated for rust resistance too.

Much more affordable then the local hardware store. Quality product.

Looks very sturdy

These Horiznext 3" long 3/8" wide wedge anchor bolts are made of galvanized carbon steel and expand to tighten in concrete holes, like a concrete slab or sidewalk. You just drill a hole the appropriate size and then insert the bolt and when you tighten it, the bottom expands in kind of a wedge shape which locks it into place. We have used these bolts to secure rows of pallet racking and railing around our warehouse facility and they work great for that kind of thing. The only concern I have about these anchor bolts is I can't find the maximum compressive strength or other specifications. Even our pallet racking is lightweight by most standards (our pallets are only a few hundred pounds max) so I'm not really worried about it for my personal use case but if I was using these to install something structural that was heavy, I would want to know the detailed specifications for concrete compressive strength and appropriate torque to apply for the depth and diameter of each bolt size. That is something that is usually available for these types of bolts and you might be able to search the web and find it, but it should really be available easily even if it was a pdf link or something. Overall, they work well for my use case and I'm happy with them. If you need them for a more heavy duty use case then I would recommend looking around or contacting the manufacturer for the detailed specifications document.

These are just as good as what I buy at the local big box store, at a fraction of the cost. I used them to install a pergola in my backyard on concrete. They install easy, drill bit is included and lasts long enough to install the 16 that I needed to install, and I didn’t break any during installation. Does the job they are intended for, so no complaints.

I ordered a package of 20 and received 8! It’s a scam

This 5/8” x 6” galvanized wedge anchor kit is seriously solid for any heavy-duty job. The carbon steel feels tough and dependable, perfect for concrete or cement bases. I used a few on a wall project and they held up super strong—no wobble or looseness at all. The galvanized coating is a nice touch, adds some rust protection which is great for long-term use. Installation was straightforward once I got the hang of it, though the anchors are definitely on the beefy side. You get a good amount in the pack (20 pcs), so it’s a great value for the quality. Overall, if you’re doing concrete work or mounting something serious, these are a go-to.

These Horiznext 3/8 x 3 inch Wedge Anchors are simple but tough little fasteners for concrete floors or walls. The anchors are galvanized, so they feel solid and should resist rust. These are strictly for concrete—don’t try them in brick or block. Drill a 3/8-inch hole first; they fit snug, don't slip, expand properly when tightened. The 3-inch length works well for medium-duty mounting jobs. Tip: Tap them lightly before tightening to make sure they are seated.

Lots of anchors in this package and they seem to be working just as well as any other wedge anchor I've used previously. Personally, I'm not a fan of wedge anchors like these, but that isn't a fault of these ones. Good option if you need them.

This wedge anchor kit is exactly what I needed for securing fixtures in concrete. The anchors feel solid and durable, and they hold firmly once installed. Drilling the holes was straightforward, and the anchors tightened easily without slipping. The kit comes with all the sizes I need, which makes it very versatile for different projects. Overall, it’s a reliable and well-made kit that makes working with concrete much easier and ensures a secure hold every time.
