- A simple but effective method of converting old floors is to drill holes in each corner of the floor so that a Jig saw can run around it

They are equally suitable for making new varroa floors, or converting solid hive floors. I find that a simple but effective method of converting old floors is to drill holes in each corner of the floor so that a Jig saw can run around it, and then the mesh can be fixed to the underneath side of the open floor and pinned in place with some thin beading.
