- Super7 Conan Comics ULTIMATES! Wave 02 - Conan Action Figure

I've been keeping an eye on this "Kull The Conqueror" action figure for awhile, and finally I had to pull the trigger. I'm giving this character 5 out of 5 stars and I'll explain why. For those who don't know, Kull is another character created by Robert E. Howard who is more well known for Conan The Barbarian series. (Whose books I'd HIGHLY recommend). Kull doesn't seem to be as well known, so all the more reason I had to snag one because I don't expect any more. I love the Super 7 series and I always found the quality to be top notch. This figure does not disappoint! First, I want to say it ships well. For collectors, this is quite important! Some figures I keep packaged, but others I like so much I take out for display. PACKAGING: The packaging has great care! They have the Kull font, just like some of his publications. For me, it gives the impression it came right out of a comic book or a book cover. It's bright, and every side of the package is decorated with care. I especially love the back panel. This should really set the standard for high quality action figure packaging, because the box can be displayed as proudly as the character itself. Plus it respects the source material: I could see someone who doesn't know Kull well and suddenly get intrigued by his stories, and hopefully buy the books to explore the character more. It really does the character justice. ACTION FIGURE DETAIL/DECO: I took a high quality large picture for a reason. Just look at the battle axe for starters. You can see the straps are leather AND HAVE DETAIL. Look at the edges of the axe: they have chips in it and has color gradient so it looks like metal. Even the sword sheath has a "cut" on it. The sword looks decent. Not quite as "used" as that battle ax. I kind of wish it kept the same "used" look on the other accessories. The straps to this chest armor look great, but it would have looked stellar if the armor itself looked battle stressed. The crown he comes with looks OK. I don't expect a crown to be worn and torn, but looks a little average. I love that you get two heads, also with great expressions and they are UNIQUE. While it's easy to confuse him for Conan, he doesn't look like Conan. He looks like Kull. Don't get me wrong, they look similar, but like brothers, not just a rehash. ARTICULATION: The articulation is good. He's a bulky character and he is bulky. There are more articulate figures with more poseable options, but he's not a ballerina, he is a warrior. For me, he's perfectly acceptable and easy to make great poses. Plus the figures balance is acceptable. My favorite pose is him raising his axe coming down for the kill. I can show this pose if anyone wishes. Overall, if you are even considering this figure, I'd grab it when you can. They are not going to make more of these (though I wish they would). I'd like to get the Conan Super 7, but only as resources allow. But until then, Kull will be "Conquering" my collection until then! VALUE: I spent a little over $30 and it's worth every penny in my opinion. These type of figures never come cheap, and actually feel it's worth a little more! DURABILITY: As with all Super7 figures that I have, this figure feels quite solid and durable. I do treat all my figures with great care and don't like to stress them, but it feels really good. TIP: Let your figures come to room temperature before taking out and posing. Especially when it gets cold outside. Thank you Super7 for making this, and as well as you did! I love the box art so much, I am currently displaying the back of the box as part of my display!

Cool retro packaging look. With King Conan the movie in the works this figure is even more iconic.

This Conan figure was a gift for my buddy. He loved it! These Super 7 figures are pretty cool. And if you can get it on sale, even better! This was 10 bucks when I picked it up. Definitely worth it.

Got this for a hockey player player because I could not pronounce his name but he is a fighter so reminded me of Conan. He loved the gift and said it was a good resemblance of him.

Perfect transaction! King Kull arrived quickly, very well packaged, and in excellent condition. The seller did a great job with protective wrapping, so the figure arrived safely with no damage. Exactly as described—highly recommended!

Just as big as the old he-man action figures way back in the day. Just way cooler! Those brave enough to open the packaging will find a very well detailed sword. Easily worth the money

Genial super detallado llevaba mucho tiempo buscándolo. Es el auténtico Conan el chauche en estado puro. La espada se aprecian todos los detalles

Quizás no sea la figura más espectacular de conan, pero los accesorios y en general la figura me gustaron, no entiendo mucho las reseñas negativas. Buena figura.
