Is this good for grass carp?

The Tumble Drum would not be the ideal product for Grass Carp. The unit is designed to be used for up to 50 pan fish (fish about 12-14 inches in size).

Have they improved the durability of the shaft area? Specifically where the shaft connects to the motor. That’s a common complaint with this unit.

After a little over 5000 fish I have not had a problem

Can you just put filets in instead of whole fish

No, you will have to put the whole fish in there.. I think it would eat up the meat, This is really for pan fish that you don't want to filet. hope this wil help you

Do you de-gut/clean-out fish B4 or after using fish tumbler/de-scaler ?

After. With cleaning fish, you basically work from the inside out. Plus you want your fish whole as it's tumbling to avoid shredding as it tumbles.
