The plastic things that attached this to cardboard are still sticking out of this toy. How do I get them out without leaving a short sharp piece?

Our team is working on a fix for this but in the meantime, please cut as close to the ball as possible and then push the plastic tab inside :)

Is the rubber of the ball soft?

Our fetch toy is made from natural rubber, carefully selected for its durability and soft enough for your pup's mouth!

How do you remove the plastic string out of the ball?

I used very small toenail clippers, it made it easier to clip off the entire hard plastic string so that my dogs wouldn't be hurt by it.

Any tips for completely removing the plastic string that attaches to the ends of the ball and the packaging?

I wasn't happy with it, either. I cut the nylon string as close as possible to the ball, using curved nail scissors. Then, I pressed on that spot and the remaining scratchy tip seemed to disappear into the ball.
