We've purchased a variety of 'American Garden-works' products this summer and are extremely pleased with all.They are the strongest, most supportive Sheppard hooks I've ever seen in decades of shopping,at many big box stores and fancy garden shops.If you don't mind = BLACK powder coated (instead of bronze)Having bought ours at our local Menard's, I jumped on Amazon to comment what an excellent productWOW! = Was I surprised at the on line price. We got our double hook for 26 bucks.Ours is same co. & product = except it's black.Need to mention here = this company is in Indiana, (not far from us)sure hope they've grown enough that there products are available in your area too.Moving on = All of the measurements given on American Garden-works products are from tip-to-tip.Our 90" double Sheppard hook = One side is 59" the other 72" from hook to ground.The other 18" is consumed by the foot in the ground, or space above the hook that contains the finial.This is a VERY HEAVY = WELL MADE rod. Weights much more then a standard round 90".The full 1/2" square construction is part of the weight = and that's also what keeps it from bending / leaning like many others do.Highly recommend this company's products. (Well = at least at the prices we paid)-------------------Same place = same co. = 64' Sheppard hook (57" from hook to the ground) 17 bucks.A 90" single Sheppard rod = is 70" from the hook to the ground = 20 bucksThey also have one in-between, but that was sold out by the time we came across them.Also a neat 1/2" dia 'rod basket' 14 bucks. = 28" from top to ground, basket is 9" W by 5 3/4" D.Enjoy.
