Not vacuum-packed but very tightly compressed and then rolled and wrapped, this "Premium Memory Foam Pillow By MemorySoft, Shredded Memory Foam With Thin Memory Foam Shell - Hypoallergenic Cool Bamboo Case" needs to be unpacked and left to aerate for a short time. No deeper than 2-3 centimetres at first, it well start to expand almost immediately if laid fairly flat. There is a sheet of paper that may include instructions but in German! Left to its own resources, it was fully aerated when checked after about an hour.This is to replace another memory foam pillow, a composite design with a hollowfibre centre, which was also quite flat when received and did not expanmsdbut remains flat after several days but is now also misshapen. Although satisfactory in its first days of use, it increasingly failed to satisfy until it was relegated to a secondary role!This is of all memory foam construction; a thin memory foam shell is stuffed with chopped memory foam. The result is lighter in weight and feel while retaining full support. Comfort level is estimated as medium to medium-firm as against medium-firm to firm for a solid memory foam pillow. The claimed advantage is that it is cooler and self ventilating but it is also lighter in weight. The end-zipped cover which incorporates bamboo fibre can be removed for laundering is soft to the touch and claimed to further improve its cooling properties. It also seems to hold its shape and bulk without needing a morning shake-out.At under £20, it offers very good value.

I ordered two of these for my husband and myself to give them a try. We had tried other types of pillows to enable us to sleep better but they had not worked very well but we found these to be extremely comfortable and easy to clean. The pillow has an outer cover which can be washed in the washing machine. Good value too for a good nights rest.

Good quality pillow but I have shoulder /neck problems and this pillow is far too high for me. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. Had to return it.

It is a good pillow but taller than I expected

My son absolutely loves this pillow - he has been after mine for months so I thought I'd get him one! I'm always shopping for quality and value which isn't always easy.....this pillow ticks the boxes, for the price it is of excellent quality.Super soft, comfy and supportive, I will be buying more at some point.

I love this pillow it's not only comfortable it also manages to stay cool and never feels hot to lay on. I suffer from a bad neck as well and this does help a lot. for the price, I thought it won't work but it does. I would never have anything else now period

This came rolled up, and I left if for several hours to expand - it didn't really, not as much as I'd hoped for, and lying on it made it flatter. It didn't seem to have enough filling for me, so I sent it back, and have gone back to my £8 B&M memory foam pillow.The price has come down now as well, so pleased I didn't pay £25.
