Top Quality Puppy or Small dog Nylon Tracking Training Line lead Black (10 meters)

I got this lead for my one year old shih tzu. It was great for around 3 months until the clip snapped while he was in the field! As i'm still working on his recoil training it took me a while to get him back. I was just lucky that this happened in a place where he was safe! Being a shih tzu he obviously isn't very big, so this lead is really only suitable for puppies or tiny dogs such as yorkies or chihuahuas. The lead itself is good and very strong, but the clip will easily snap if your dog reaches the end of the lead and pulls.

My Parson Russell is in recall training at the moment and this is a perfect aid. It's light and he doesn't seem to be aware of it as it's important to let it just rest on the ground. This has given him a whole new freedom and his recall is improving, 20 metres is long! and needs to be used in an open field/space. It's best to keep away from other dogs on leads if you don't want to get tangled up. I am still glad of it when there is a major distraction like another dog or squirrel but hope we won't need it at all one day. Washes well and if carefully put away it doesn't get knotted.

Too heavy to use with my chihuahua and I bought it because it was for a small dog. Does appear to be strong and well made and would definitely be suitable for a bigger dog
