Really nicely done, looks very good and the stopper is ...
Really nicely done, looks very good and the stopper is a no brainer once you realize you can't fill it to the absolute brim. It's super light and feels fragile to me, but the look and feel is very high end. It's no BKR bottle in terms of ruggedness, but for a bottle to use at a table, it's definitely one of the nicest and most aesthetically pleasing.

It's almost funny
When you're manufacturing an item as simple as a water bottle, you'd think some attention would be given to design. The first time I filled the bottle up and put the cap on, the cap popped right off. How does this get past quality assurance?? I mean, manufacture a bottle, fill with water, and attach top. That's all it takes. So I just purchased a $23 water bottle that doesn't even serve it's function: being portable. The problem, from what I can tell, is that the top is cylindrical while the neck of the bottle is conical. The rubber circumscribing the top makes for a really tight fit, so when the neck is just a little wet, it pops right off. It's almost funny. Almost.

Stylish, convenient and well-made
When reviewing this glass water bottle one absolutely has to keep in mind the intended use. I tried to break those down into 3 very broad categories. I know that won't fit everyone but I hope it's a starting point. USE 1: as a convenience bottle that you keep in the fridge USE 2: as a transportable bottle, best example, for use in your car USE 3: as a true sport bottle that you can throw in your backpack and take on a hike For use #1 I can't imagine anything more perfect. It holds about the same amount of water as a typical plastic bottle and is ideal for refilling from your home filtered water source or a larger store-bought water container. It makes the perfect bedside water bottle. For use #2: this bottle is touted as being usable for both cold and hot liquids, which indicates it is not overly delicate. The included sleeve can help keep your water cool in the car and help avoid getting your cup holder wet with condensation. The stopper works fine as long as the bottle is kept in the upright position. For use #3: not so great. The stopper is not intended to survive being inverted or rugged movement and the glass itself, while not especially fragile, is after all, glass. Perhaps a stainless steel thermos would be a better choice for hiking. I became aware there can be dangers concerning plastic water bottles subjected to temperature extremes (both hot and cold) as in your car or your freezer. For convenience, since I have a good in-home water filter, I got into the habit of reusing a store-bought plastic bottle hundreds of times. I decided the sanitary risk wasn't worth it but I liked the shape and feel of a plastic water bottle for a quick drink out of the fridge or to keep on the nightstand for an overnight re-hydrant. I was looking for something that held the usual 16 oz or so, had a non-slip grip and a top that was easy to remove. This bottle met all of my criteria and then some. As others have noted, the lip is especially smooth and gentle on the lips since it doesn't have the common threads water bottles have. The glass is lightweight, yet strong, so when I lift it in the middle of the night it feels "right" like a common plastic water bottle. Of the ones I researched, this is the only one that had the size, shape and feel of a familiar plastic water bottle. I consider over $20 US for a bottle that's not that different from a soda pop bottle to be on the high side but after seeing it there's no doubt it is better than average quality. One small negative is that the included nylon cozee isn't completely flat on the bottom which could make it easier to knock the bottle over, but I don't intend to use it anyway.

My opinion has definitely changed since purchase!
When I originally purchased this, there were some complaints about the neoprene cover smell, but neoprene smells anyway so I went ahead and ordered it and left a great review. I have since changed my mind. The actual bottle and cap develop a definite funky smell even if it is washed with vinegar or baking soda. I don't use dish detergent in something like this since it would be difficult to rinse all the detergent out of it. I bought another glass water bottle from Walmart around the same time and have never had a problem with any odor. I really wanted to like this bottle, but the odor it emits just turns me off.

Lost cap within a week and now bottle is useless
Great. Until you lose the cap which will happen rather quickly. And then it becomes useless. Should come with at least one extra cap.

Exactly what I was looking for
I love this glass bottle. I don't like drinking out of most metal and reusable plastic bottles, but didn't want to be wasteful and use single use water bottles. This glass bottle is perfect for me and the perfect drinking experience. I particularly like that the size and shape is just like the disposable water bottles. Another of my favorite features may be a downside for some. I like that the top is more of a glass cork which means that the neck that you drink out of is smooth and not threaded or the like. The 'cork' and the fact that this is glass both mean that this is not a 'sports bottle' and must be treated more carefully. That's fine with me though and meets my needs. The neoprene sleeve is great too and helps me feel that I'm not so likely to break it, but there is a standard neoprene smell to it that I hope fades. I do wish that there was some kind of leash to hold the lid so it doesn't get misplaced.

I got two days of use out of my bottle.
After two days of use, I lost the cork/stopper because it comes off very easily. I carried the bottle in an outer pocket of my bag that left the top of the bottle exposed. On Day 1 the stopper came off when I put my bag in the trunk of my car. On Day 2 the stopper was probably pulled by accident in a crowded elevator. I strongly recommend buying a water bottle with a different type of bottle top.
