For the rolling one - how does it fit into the bucket? Is it spring-loaded?

Yeah, there's two springy rubber parts on either end that keep it in place.

5-gallon bucket, but not all five gallon buckets will hold the rolling rod securely. I’m a sucker for a YouTube Video. I’ve had this for three months and have caught NO mice/rats at all.

Very humane trap!

I like this trap because I don't have to see dead rats! I hate mice and I hate killing living creatures as well! This is perfect!

It's too short

It doesn't fit in any of my standard 5 gallon buckets without shimming. I've had it setup for a week with a camera on it and so far the rats in my yard won't go anywhere near it.updateIt definitely doesnt work with Norway rats. After two weeks they wont go anywhere near it.
