Works just like the original.
Works great! Easy, direct install on my 2013 Chrysler Town & Country. You will need a torx bit to remove the screws holding it in. I didn’t change the metal fitting in the transmission that it comes with; I didn’t see any need to. The gasket it came with was thick, pliable, and good quality. I used Permatex Anaerobic gasket maker between the gasket and the pan to seal it up a little better.Great value. After adding 6 qts of Mopar ATF +4 ATF, the van shifts like new again. Also, get the dipstick to ensure your topped off at the right level. (The van’s don’t come with a dipstick, just a fill tube with a cap). Also, these transmissions need regular maintenance if you want them to last. No more than 50k miles between servicing. Especially since less than 1/2 the fluid is being replaced each time.
