A wonderful spoon for thick soups

I admit, I'm picky about spoons. When I'm having a stew or thick soup, chowder, etc, I don't like the bowl to be shallow because it's very easy to spill. I've gotten a lot of soup spoons over the years and this is the best I've ever found. The bowl is deep, it has a heavy weight and it's quite thick. The result is that the spoon helps the drops to dribble into the soup and make less of a problem of spills. It's nice and deep, so you don't have the soup get cold.These are the only spoons for my soup.

Good spoons.

These spoons are very nice, heavy, smooth, and well balanced. They aren't as wide or deep as my antique silverplate soup spoons so I was a little disappointed, but they are the best modern soup spoons I have been able to find.
