3m x AVIPOINT G20 SEAGULL SPIKES & ADHESIVE, Avipoint spikes are one of the worlds best spikes (sold from Poland to Australia) and the ones that most professional installers choose for both ease of installation and the long-lasting durability of the materials they are constructed from. The spikes are designed to allow flexibility whilst bearing any pressure from the target species. Every metre consists of 3 easy-to-handle sections.Stainless steel spikes are the preferred option for architects due to their low visibility once installed and they will not discolour over time,something that full plastic spikes are prone to do.Avipoint spikes are stackable meaning that you can carry 15m+ up a ladder,a glue guide for easy application of the adhesive,rivet holes for additional fastening when installing the adhesive or when using screws and snap guides to allow for easy breaking of the spikes without the use of a hacksaw.Please remember that the spikes have been designed for the target species in mind (height of the spikes etc) and they may not work against larger or smaller birds. A common problem is the use of pigeon spikes to tackle gulls leading to a quick failure of the system as they can quickly span the spikes with their longer legs.The adhesive supplied is a low-modulus flexible silicone and the perfect long-lasting option for correct spike adhesion... never use fast drying adhesives such as 'pink grip' or 'gripfill' as they will crack when exposed to the elements!,Our instruction guide includes the preparation,application and do/don'ts of spike installation and is included with every order.Free advice is offered for the installation of the spikes if purchased from us.
